Book Hook:
Natalie Hargrove went from the broke side of town to the rich because her mom married again… Now she would kill to be her high school's Palmetto Princess but her boyfriend Mike doesn’t really care. And Natalie is afraid Mike is going to lose it to Justin Balmer. So she convinces Mike to play a prank on J.B. which totally backfires. They tied him to a church after a party but the next morning when they went back he was dead.
Plot Analysis:
Exposition: Natalie Hargrove seems like just an ordinary teenage stressing over the Palmetto Princess spot. She said she would do absolutely anything but nobody thought she would go as far as she did.
Point of Conflict: Her boyfriend Mike didn’t really care even though she and his family thought…show more content… But, I also refuse to not be Palmetto Princess. This is my time t0 shine and he is never going to be able to take that from me. Mike needs to get his head in on this though and help us win. I’m tired of being the only one to care about this considering it’s so important to me. It makes me sad and think he doesn’t love me because he won’t get his head in on this. I would do anything for this and I just want him to feel the same way about it. Justin better back up though those are our crowns not his. The worst part about it was that when we returned to untie him he was dad. Then I noticed Natalie was acting really suspicious but, I just ignored it. She proceeded to talk me into helping her make it look like a gang thing. When that didn’t work she decided we needed to hide the body. It took me forever to agree but I love her smooch and I don’t want to lose her. Now I don’t know what I’m going to do the cops came by about ten minutes ago. They asked me if I knew where Justin was.
