Would you be willing to die for your freedom? During the American Revolutionary War many patriots like Patrick Henry spoke out against Britain's oppressive restrictions imposed on one’s way of life, behavior, and political views. Men like Henry were disposed to die for their independence in a time period where people were unsure of rebelling against a mighty king living 4,000 miles away. The colonists desire to rebel was halted by the fear of being tried for treason. Patrick Henry uses logos in the speech to the Virginia Conference because colonists could be persuaded logically to rebel against Britain and become independent.
Henry and other patriots are ready to go to war with Britain if they do not meet their demands.
