Retired police officer found dead

Late last night, the police was issued a call about a dead body. Ms. Maloney called the police frenetic and distressed having just found Mr. Maloney dead. When the police arrived at the scene, the body had been dead for a while. Ms. Maloney was questioned and the police are saying she is not a suspect. She had been concluded to be in a grocery store at the time of the murder, she was about to begin cooking dinner for the two of them, but need a few ingredients. She was hospitable enough to have allowed the detectives to eat dinner with them since they had been working hard.

He was married to Mary Maloney and they lived a happy life together, just the two of them. They had a routine everyday to get through, he would go to work, and she would stay home and clean and sit there waiting for him until he came home.
