Paul and Barnabas were expelled from Pisidian Antioch and from there traveled to the Greek city of Lconium. Lconium was located eighty miles southeast of Antioch. The journey took them about 5 days on foot. When they arrived they went to the Jewish synagogues and spoke to the Jews and the Gentiles. Again all of the Jews resisted the gospel and turned many of the Gentiles against Paul and Barnabas. Through many miracles and many spearman's some Gentiles repented and became christians. Some of the Jews in Lconium plotted to kill Paul and Barnabas. When Paul and Barnabas heard of this plot they left the city. From there they traveled twenty miles south to the city of Lystra. In Lystra God performed the greatest miracles through Paul, Paul healed a lame man. The miracles God did through Paul made the people of Lystra believe that they were Greek Gods who had come to visit their city. They prepared wreaths and flowers and sacrifices and bulls for the “Greek Gods.” They wanted to worship them and praise them but Paul and Barnabas told them that they were not Gods and that there is only one true God. Some of the people in Lystra believed the gospel until Jews from Pisidian Antioch and Lconium arrived in Lystra and turned the people away from Paul and Barnabas. Paul was stoned and left outside the city. Paul and Barnabas from Berbe and left to go on their long journey home. On their way home they stopped in each city and encouraged the Christians to stay strong in their faith. When they were in each city they appointed elders as leader of the churches. Paul and Barnabas did all that God commanded them to
