According to Aristotle, any tragedy has a tragic hero who possesses a tragic flaw ultimately causing their own downfall. Despite the tragic hero’s defeat, its purpose is to validate redeeming human qualities to the audience.The literary model of a tragic hero can also be applied to real-life people such as Paul Walker. Walker worked his way up to elevated status as a famous actor. To begin, Paul Walker can be compared to a Greek tragic hero because he achieved high status in the eyes of American society.Paul Walker was born on September 12, 1973 in the L.A. neighborhood of Sunland-Tujunga.Paul Walker lived with both of his parents and his three siblings(Kara 3). All in all, Paul rose above his impoverished youth to become a social elite. To continue, Paul Walker's life develops as a Greek tragedy because he possessed the tragic flaw of hubris which got the best of him when riding in his friend's car. He was cocky and thought he could drive like he did in the movies and in real life but the problem with that is that in real life there aren't safety precautions like in the movies.Which led to paul walker crashing into a light pole in a car and the car getting obliterated and him burning upon no recognition.
