Dear Darrel Issa, the topic i will be discussing is the fact that we are paying 10 cents for every bag we get at grocery stores. I believe this is unfair and irrelevant, the governments reasoning behind charging 10 cents every bag was because they wanted a reason for people to not buy as many plastic bags because they arent bio degradeable, but in reality them charging 10 cents every bag isnt benefiting anyone at all, in one way if the government really wanted the problem to go away they would get rid of most plastic bags all together and repace all of them with paper bags or cloth bags. Another reason it is not good is because it is adding something else everyone has to pay for if they want or need some bags and it isnt funding anything to
