The focus of this article is extraordinary. Peacemaking criminology is often viewed as an alternate method to address violence among society. Nevertheless, the author of this article references peacemaking as a mechanism to impact arrest polices on domestic violence, while simultaneously addressing community policing. Moloney, defines the principle of peacemaking as problem solving. Therefore, the principle is something that be discovered by applying community justice and defining the root cause of a particular crime. The author makes it known that peacemaking involves both sides of the spectrum. Therefore, in order to achieve efficiency community policing amongst police and residents alike, a common picture has to be developed.
