In the midst of the plan, it seemed there had been another plan punish the Japanese, specifically Japanese-Americans. Multiple German and Italian immigrants were locked up but majority would be free to live out the rest of their lives except for Japanese-Americans. FBI director, J. Edgar Hoover, convinced U.S attorney General that suspect individuals were in custody and ignored that there was no requirement for a “Mass evacuation,” of Japanese for safety reasons but L.T General John. The biggest question being: Why would the military and FDR ignore a intercepted message from the Japanese about the attack if they had it? If they had this intercepted message, would they stand by letting the Japanese commit this devastating attack? Or how odd it was Admiral Husband Kimmel and Lt. General Walter Short were relieved from their commands shortly after Pearl Harbor? Individuals have been trying to debunk theories for quite awhile but no official information was stated. It was believed before Pearl Harbor a message had been intercepted from the Japanese possibly about the attack and other possibility that FDR had ignored it. Was it possible that it was for the money and excuse to to go to war with the Central Powers? Col. Henry Clausen accused Adm. Kimmel had received the warning after warning from Washington but didn’t take the threat of an attack at Hawaii seriously as he failed to alert his forces. Were both commanders relieved of duty after the bombing as maybe they were hiding something?
