The Pee Dee Coalition is a nonprofit initiative that was organized in 1986 and is now currently rooted in the communities of seven counties including Florence, Darlington, Marion, Chesterfield, Marlboro, Dillion, and Williamsburg. The mission of the Pee Dee Coalition through dedicated service, is to reduce the incidents of sexual assaults, family violence, and child abuse by providing aid to the victims that are subjected to these traumatic acts. Currently, the Pee Dee Coalition provides services and programs for women and children with the sole desire to aid the victims that want to be free from physical threat or harm. The program services are geared toward domestic violence, sexual assault, and child abuse which is prevalent within communities across our nation and this program not only implements efforts to assist in services but provides a safe haven as well.
