Percy Shelley in his time was a very troubled man. He grew up as a child adolescent and he begin to show signs of rebellion at the age of fourteen. Most famous writers of this time. Has spectacular lives even from a young age but unlike them Percy did not go through this path he chose a more adventurous and free lifestyle. Even though he is very famous for his poems and he is persuasive pieces he is not one of the best role models.
Percy Bysshe Shelley was born on August 4, 1792 at a place called Sussex, England. You the oldest of the five siblings of Timothy and Elizabeth Shelley. Also he began to move right long form poetry. He began writing political pamphlets.While in this stage of life he met his political philosopher Hero William Godwin.
Even though the relationship between Percy and Harriet was terrible they still had two children together. While she was still pregnant with the second child he left her and immediately found another woman. He decided to go off and leave with Mary who is also the daughter of his beloved mentor. Percy Shelley thought that Godwin would be approving of this relationship but didnt in the end. Godwin disapprove and decided to never speak with marry for the next 3 years.
Mary and Percy decided to go off to Switzerland together to be with one each other. While in Switzerland they met up with her step sister. Her step sister was in a relationship with Lord Byron. While they were together Lord Byron and Percy Shelley grew close together and became great friends. Even though throught out their visit Mary’s sister and Lord Byrons relationship was beginning to fall apart Percy and Mary stayed with them for another three
