2. At which point did you feel most interested by this piece? When least? Explain. I felt most interested by this piece when the author linked Mother Theresa's idea of love and forgiveness to the Luke 17:1-19. It presents a simple yet interesting insight on God's love, mercy, and forgiveness which (all) have been often overlooked (and taken for granted) by His people. I found this particularly striking because its underlying message is that love is the very core and foundation of forgiveness. At which point did you feel most interested by this piece? When least? Explain. I was most interested by this piece in the first few parts of the paper — when the author explained that the Gospel of Matthew was written for the Jewish people in order that they could connect to Jesus based on what they have known from the Old Testament. He also quotes that it is "a swinging door that connects the Old Testament to the New Testament." I was also particularly interested when the author talked about the goal and purpose of Matthew — to educate and to introduce Christianity in such a way that the Jews and Gentiles will be able to understand him. The insights presented are somewhat new to me and yes, I found them really fascinating which also sparked my curiosity to read these sections keenly. On the other hand, I was least interested towards the end of the paper because I felt that the momentum of the paper's content somewhat began to reduce in strength (i.e. the points made weren't as agressive as the ones in the introduction). However, I believe that it's just a matter of some parts (on the body of the paper) to make the context and mood blend with what was present in the beginning of the
