DANOS mapped courses/ Evidence of specific education or training in substance misuse and/ or a Health and Social Care qualification including RGN/RMN.

Skills/Knowledge:
Knowledge of issues relating to substance misuse and thorough understanding of the principles of alcohol harm minimization including alcohol detoxification.
Brief interventions.
Ability to communicate effectively using appropriate language and listening skills and liaising with other healthcare professionals
Understanding of confidentiality and diversity issues.
Understanding of issues relating to child protection/vulnerable adults.
Computer literate – able to use data systems and e-mail.
