Personal finance courses can be very helpful, but in most cases, unfortunately, they are not. They should not be required, but they should be available. Anyone who would voulenteer to take this class would be invested in trying, given it’s their choice. Learning about money and how to invest and build up your future is a a great tool, but often it doesn’t work out that way. Often, after high school, children who tested in financial abilities that were required to take the class scored no higher than some that were not required Source #2 states: “Trouble is, growing evidence suggests that financial-literacy courses don’t work. Worse, they may actually hurt, in part by making these graduates overconfident about their skills.” This proves these
