A football player has many tasks on hand when it comes to performing on the field. The player is required to be strong, fast, smart and discipline. My job for the next month will be to give my roommate the best chance on making the football team by creating an easy-to-follow weight lost program. I want to start off by giving him a placement test to discover the strengths and weaknesses. After that we would need to set a target goal that has to be met at the end of the month. The plan has to be easy-to-follow, with no punishment, and reinforcement should be rewarded with treats and other releasing dopamine stimuli’s. Research has shown that a pattern to our everyday life slows down out brain activity and the synapses were not as strong. Every day I will have different sets of exercise that worked on different body parts. A football player is require to have strong legs and I would make sure to concentrate on the lower extremities. During and after every training day, treats would be given for positive reinforcement. Daily nutrients are very important when it comes to loosing fat and building muscle. Providing a nutrient plan would improve our target goal. To keep that plan going forward, I would need to combine reinforcements and negative feedback. After every training, I would provide positive reinforcement that would include doing something that my roommate would enjoy. It’s like giving the dog a treat after performing that task you asked. Since becoming a football player is not only getting physical strong, but also educated on the sport. I would take my roommate to a processional football game. I believe by getting educated on the task in front of us, would lead to a better approach during training, knowing what the big picture looks like. Knowledge would defeat strength in most of the plays during a football game.
