This course has helped me to move forward in my career as a music therapist because it helped me to know myself better as a therapist. It had been a while since I had music therapy supervision so that this practicum course was truly beneficial for me to receive supportive advice and feedback. It most helped my learning when I received feedback from the professor after each submission of written assignment and clinical video recording because I could focus on the points where I needed to improve or make changes for the upcoming NMT session, which helped me grow as a therapist. Regarding the video assignment, the comments under each category of Grading Rubric for Clinical Interventions gave me clear and direct suggestions. After reading the comments, I went back to review my video once more and was able to rethink of my lesson plan for the next NMT session. Regarding the written assignment, the grading guidelines were very clear to follow and helped me relearn TDM steps especially with the professor's support throughout the section. I had been working with forensic psychiatric population since I graduated college and I was prohibited to video record anything at the hospital property so that I did not have any chance to record my session. I used to video record my music therapy sessions by using VHS tapes as an undergraduate student, and this was my new experience to record, edit, and submit the video recordings via an online tool. This learning experience will give me future opportunities to request the clinical supervision via online to other music therapy professionals who live anywhere in the world, which is so
