Personal Narrative: A Career In Occupational Therapy

From a very young age I have always been interested in various medical occupations, such as nursing to physical therapy. Not only did I want a career in healthcare that was devoted to helping others, but I wanted a career in the medical field that ensured that one to one patient interaction in a steady pace that you don't get with many other fields. So, I began my research and was immediately intrigued and taken in by the field of occupational therapy. I knew at that moment that this career was my true purpose in life, and I was going to work hard towards achieving that goal. I also wanted the highest degree level because I wanted to be the first in my family to attain a doctoral degree.
I deem that everyone deserves the best quality of life
