Carnegie Hall
It was the day of the concert, and everyone was ecstatic. We had checked and rechecked our garment bags to make sure we had everything we needed and were hurriedly loading on to the buses. We would spend a few hours touring New York before we headed over to Carnegie Hall where we would perform. Everyone was exhausted and hungry, but we didn’t care. Today was the day to showcase everything we had worked for over the past year, and we were ready for the opportunity.
We started our day touring Times Square and buying some last minute souvenirs to bring home. Around 2:00, we loaded back onto the buses and made our way to Carnegie Hall. Once we arrived, we quickly changed into our formal wear, took lots of pictures outside, and prepared

On the way up everyone was talking eagerly about our performance. We got to our seats and started filling into them while the performance continued under us. We watched the other two group choirs perform and waited to go back down for a final mass performance. When the time came for us to go back down, we stood up and started walking back to the main floor.
When we got to the main floor we walked through the aisles of the chairs to spread out throughout the hall. The last director came out to conduct us for our last piece. It was really special because this was the debut of his song. The air was buzzing as we started the song and the audience was quiet. It was a beautiful piece and it was an awesome feeling to be singing with hundreds of students from around the United States. The song finished and everything after that went by really quickly.
The audience stood up and started clapping and everyone was smiling and laughing. We started to walk backstage to meet up with the other members of Hunt. After the concert we walked through Times Square to eat dinner and have a great time. Singing at Carnegie Hall was a very memorable night, and it brought me closer to lots of member of the chorus. It was a once in a lifetime experience and I’ll remember it for the rest of my
