Personal Narrative: A Letter To My San Diego

Hello San Diego, I have recently received your letter and am pleased that you choose our school. I am also twelve and actually live down the street from my school. On hot sunny days I enjoy playing outside with my cousin and brother. I love the beach so much I almost wish I could marry it. I ride my bike, well as soon as I get a new pump. In the summer, we go to many Philly games because we love the phillies. Unfortunately, it is currently just about in the forties, late thirties since I last checked the weather. Yes, it is freezing, but that didn't stop me from wearing a skirt. We got a lot of snow last year and missed school multiple times because of it. I don't like winter because then everyone stays inside and then we all share germs and get each other sick. I like fresh air. Although a few Octobers ago we had Superstorm Sandy which unfortunately destroyed my friends home. It was cool though because she lived with me for a month! Though we do have arts, there just not as offered. We have a band,chorus, and drama club. In with the extra curricular, we have sports and clubs. By clubs I don't mean dance clubs or people who sag their pants and holler” who ya lookin at yo!”. Yearbook, student council, and book club following many more. In the sports category there is field hockey (which I played in the fall and scored a goal) cross country, cheerleading, soccer, wrestling,and so much more I can't even remember! We have to take math, language arts, science, and history everyday. Math is ninety minutes long. How can a person stand math for that long? Well I know I can't.
