Cancún, is a Mexican city with the Caribbean Sea next door. It is known for its beaches, numerous resorts, and nightlife. Every year, Grad-Week takes high school seniors to Cancun in the summer to party and drink for good times. The trip costs twelve hundred dollars for all you can eat buffets, plane tickets, unlimited booze, and the hotel rooms, of course. Every year, the high school seniors talk and plan about these five days of nonstop partying, light blue oceans, drinking, relaxing, and of course the sex!
At nine p.m., my friends and I were finishing up the security’s checkpoints and getting boarding passes. We were all limping through the airport due to the lack of sleep we had the night before. Furthermore, one of my buddies pointed at our gate and said, “Yo, check out the girls.” All of our eyes shot open to see the girls who were joining us at Cancun. We showered, got dressed, and headed to the bar to pre-game. When the elevator door squeaked open at the lobby, we heard shouting and non-stop laughing. We joined the crowd of graduated seniors who were holding out dollars to the bar tenders and yelling there drink names. In my life, I have never seen bar tenders sweat and move that quickly for money. Twenty minutes later, my friends and I were six shots in on tequila and lime, and o’ boy we were definitely feeling it. The clock hit 10:30 pm, and it was time to get on the strip and hit the clubs. As soon as I stepped outside, I realized how big of a mistake I made wearing jeans that night. The weather was so moist, and you can feel the jeans sticking to your legs, but I didn’t let this ruin the night!
