Rain had fallen the night before. Knowing the heat of the sun and the sun itself was going to disappear soon, I thought it would be a good time to go for a downhill ride. Since this morning, I was hoping that the sun would have been starting to clear the track of mud and water, at Te Mata Peak. As I got home from school, I had been waiting for most of the hot heat to cool down abit, I decided to go for a downhill bike ride, I hadn’t been biking for the past 3 days due to the rain. The week ahead had rain in the forecast, this was only my 4th time on my new bike.
I quickly got my bike, helmet, backpack, drink and phone out. I was dropped at the very bottom car park by my parents, which they were also going for an walk. I have to bike all the way up to the saddle car park. I decided to try a new track that I haven’t been on yet, it was harder than the ones I have been doing. So I started to pedal off up the long step narrow stretch of road up to the top, as I finally get to the top, there was an sign saying downhill track, I stopped and had an drink. So I started heading down this new track. It look like it never gets used and was really steep and narrow track I didn’t want to get 1 move wrong or I was off the side.
