Personal Narrative: Best Buy In The Oak View

One sunny afternoon in Omaha, Nebraska, my father and I were shopping at Best Buy in the Oak View complex, which is a multi-lot area with multiple stores located in central Omaha. We were shopping for a new television for my aunts because they needed a new tv for their living room. We really enjoyed helping our aunts out because they have done so much for us throughout my life so we thought this would be a nice gesture. Best Buy has always been a good place for us to purchase electronics and personal items of choice. As we walked through those sliding doors nothing seemed more obvious to me than buying a tv. Why would you not want to work around awesome electronics? He directed us to the warehouse so we could get a cart to wheel the television out off of the shelf. Once we got the television off, we wheeled it over to the checkout station by the entrance of the building. After purchasing the tv we took it to my aunt’s house to be set up. We arrived at my aunt’s house which was located on the outer rim of Omaha near Gretna, NE. The beginning of the setup seemed fine and everything was going smoothly, but as soon as we tried to power the tv on something was definitely wrong. The television refused to display a picture for us so that we could not see the screen at all. As I could see my dad was very upset, especially because of the poor assistance we got from the slender man at the store. I assisted dad in taking the tv down and we headed back to the store for an inspection. I could already tell by dads face that he was not happy. When we arrived at the store, we took the tv directly to customer service located near the center of the store. The man at customer service was the same slender man that we saw earlier.
