It was a warm and sunny day when George, Elzenia and I went to this ranch. We was watching as the white cowboys were trying to break a horse. When the horse wouldn’t do what theys was telling him, they would beat it. They used pipes, sticks, and their bare hands. I felt badly for that there horse, but I wasn’t about to tell a white man how to do his job. Elzenia and I began walking away, she was getting bothered by watching the poor horse being beaten.
