Were you ever nervous to do something? Well John was a sophomore wrestling for Williamstown High School and hated not being on Varsity. The other day at practice the coach at Williamstown High School said that he did great. Coach Trey gave him the confidence to wrestle off the starting senior. John was very confident about wrestling this match. He went to practice that day and told his coach he wanted to wrestle the senior Mike off. The coach replied saying “He is one of the best wrestlers in the state and if you get pinned you will be embarrassed.” That is when John realized he was and still is the best wrestler in the state and he lost confidence. BOOM! The door was opened hard by his friend jake his practice partner and he was also on…show more content… Again John heard that annoying loud squeaky whistle and that time he heard it he knew it was time and he now has butterflies in his stomach. Everyone else also knew it was time for them to wrestle off. The right side was mike’s side and the left side was John’s side. Majority of the wrestlers went to the right side and 5 kids went to John’s side while both Mike and John were standing in the middle of them mat and shook hands and were ready to wrestle. BLEEEEEEEEEPPPP!!!! The whistle was blown for the start of the match. John and Mike are both circling, but then Mike tapped his head took a double and took him down right to his back with a half and John had gotten pinned the first match. Everybody on Mike’s side were laughing the match was so quick. John and Mike both went back into the middle for the second match and the loud whistle was blown again but this time John shot right off the whistle and took him down and got a cradle and pinned him! Everybody was in Shock Including coach Trey. The last match came down for the starting spot. They both shook hands and the whistle blew. They both were circling and Mike took him down with an ankle pick. John stood up got out and it was now 2-1 Mike was up. Bleep! the first period ended. John picked top, and Bleep! The period started John had rolled him back put a half in and held him so tight in the half that mike couldn’t breathe so he gave up and gave up the pin and John won the match and he gets to start for his first time. They both stood up shook each other’s hand and BOOM John hit the mat from Mike’s rock hand punching him as hard as he could. John stood up real quick and swung 5 times but only landed 2. All of a sudden everybody that was watching the match ran on the mat either punching John, Mike, or themselves. Coach Trey was blowing his whistle constantly until everybody stopped. Coach Trey yelled saying “Everyone single one of you are teammate's, and Mike if you can’t handle anyone beating you then
