It all started last summer when we were at the beach, and I realized I couldn’t breathe underwater. I was drowning underneath the waves. I would try to go up for air but another wave hit me, it felt like every wave was getting heavier. I had my hand out in the air and i felt someone grab my hand i pull me up from under the water i finally was able to breath, but i felt like i wasn't awake. I woke up on the hot sand with a lifeguard next to me. Even though her hair was wet it was still all curled up. She had a white smile that was so blinding. I asked her for her name and she told me it was Val. I seen my family members around me but the only person i could think about was the lifeguard and how she saved my life. I got her number and then she walked away and went back up to the Lifeguard Post. I went home and took a shower and couldn’t stop thinking of her beautiful face and her blinding smile. I sent her a text about 8:30pm and told her to meet me at Miniature Golf Course. I was at the Golf Course and i seen her walk around the the corner, and i told myself “wow I’m in love.” She smiled and i told her “You look beautiful.” She smiled and said “Thank you. You look handsome yourself.” We started with golf, and after we went to the go carts and had a blast. After all that fun we decided to get pizza and and talked. I thanked her for what she did today, but she just just smiled and said “That’s my job.” She got a call from her mom that said said she wanted her to come home since it was getting late.
