It was a cold snowing night in round rock and i had just got home from my girlfriends house and had bought dinner for the family but my mom a kind as she is she seemed like there was a fire inside that was lit to a small simmer she says”Ethan we need to talk “ as my dad stands behind her like a tall 6 foot 1 shadow as he follows in her path. We walk to my room and i sit on the bed and say “what do we need to speak about” followed by “ did i do something wrong”, my mom just looked at my dad then looked back at me and said”your grades are failing and you can't see your girlfriend till your passing everything” my heart sank into my stomach as she said those words. i remember thinking to myself i hate you i don't care if you die just because your taking away my girlfriend, but i knew that it was just my anger trying to get the best of me.
