Dublin, Texas. Home of Dublin Dr. Pepper, the Irish Capitol of Texas, and that’s about it. I like Dublin because it’s home to me, it’s where I went to school and made a lot of friends. But everyone can say that about his or her hometown. What makes Dublin special for me is the friendliness of everyone within the community. I can eat lunch at the local restaurant and pick up on a conversation with someone that I do not know and it will feel like we’ve known each other for a long time. I ran out of gas one time and someone I didn’t know offered to help out. The people within the town of Dublin make it what it is, something that can’t be beat.
