I play cello in Surrey Youth Orchestra, and like the other players’ goals, my goal is to make the best music that everyone wants to hear. The orchestra makes the best music when the sound of various musical instruments is in perfect harmony. Every player’s exertion is important; however, harmony is a decisive factor that produces a good music since it is not a solo concert. Therefore, the orchestra requires the great teamwork between players, and every player needs to care about other’s part as well as their part. In this regard, I think the orchestra is a microcosm of the society where people live in harmony with others and support each other’s flaws to make better society. Through the orchestra activity, I learn to live in harmony with others
