JAMS Middle School After intermediate school comes middle school. These are your seventh and eighth grade years of school. These next two years will basically set you up for high school. These two years are very important in your future education, these two years will also go by really quick. John Adams is a fairly run down and old school. I say that because my dad attended that school years before I did. He played basketball on the same gym floor that I did. That means the school is fairly old, even though my dad is not that old. Middle school was a new step for all of us that would attend in the fall. I was not that excited, but I was ready and glad to continue my education. I played sports before middle school, this was just my first experiencing them in a school. I played football and basketball. Basketball was by far my favorite because I was tall and I wasn’t that bad at it. My height was a great thing for basketball. I was like 5”9’ or 5”10’. I hadn’t really hit my growth spurt or started growing that much yet. My family is pretty tall. My uncles and my grandpa are tall, and my mom is tall for a woman. Football came first. We were very bad and we were very small. I wasn’t the biggest kid on the team but I was not the smallest. We didn’t really compare to these other teams that we faced. Our team was lucky enough to play the smaller teams and not have to face the big schools. All that would change in the next few years though. We won like one or two games, maybe not even that. Basketball was next. We were very good. I was on the A team, but I would also play on the B team. We had an A,B,C, and D team that year. We were fun to watch and we were good. We won more games in basketball than we did in football. That would be the case for both years of middle school. All in all, middle school was very fun and I would go back, because high school is
