Personal Narrative: Joining The Air Force

September 8, 2015. The day my older sister Amanda left for the Air Force was a good day. However I speak for my family and myself when I say that is was really depressing to know that my only sister and my Dads only daughter was moving somewhere far away and she wont be able to see her for a long time. However, she finally wanted to do what she always wanted by joining the military, serving her country, and becoming a mechanic working on planes.

Now, she only managed to accomplished a small amount of goals that she set for herself for she wanted to do as much as she could. Amanda was at boot camp for about before we went down to see her complete boot camp. It was awesome, especially since we got to walk around in the military base and see

The important event that happened to Amanda was when she left to join the air force because it was a big step for her when she was leaving her family and friends behind and being all alone in a far place. She got her education for homeschool, NVHS, Lynden high school, and BTC. Her main education in college was process technology and wielding. Amanda chose her career because the air force chose her to join the air force for the job. The education she received in college was a associates degree and certified wielder. The best thing that happened to Amanda in high school was her friends and the best thing in college was the wielding class. If Amanda was to have dinner with anyone dead or alive she would have dinner with George W. Bush because he is inspirational and intelligent. The best memory Amanda has would be completing boot camp because it was very challenging and if felt like getting a heavy weight of her shoulders. The reason Amanda joined the air force is because she wanted the experience, the free education, and serving her country. Some goals she has for later in life would be continuing with her career in the air force, travel more
