I lived in Canada until I was about eight years old. I grew up in Canada the youngest in my family with my brother Ralph and my sister Pamela in the city of Montreal. Most of my family from my dad’s side lived near us in Montreal while the rest of my family from my mom’s side lived in Lebanon. Living only 15 minutes away from my aunts, uncles, and cousins, we visited each other frequently, so I spent a large part of childhood with my extended family, although I never saw many of the rest of my family members in Lebanon. I spoke French as my primary language since Montreal is a French speaking city, and I spent the first and second grade in a French elementary school with my childhood friends.
