It all began with a simple phone call one night after Thanksgiving dinner. Jackie got a phone call from Joe, her boyfriend. As she looked at the screen and saw he was calling she was not happy. She was tired, and wanted to stay home to relax, and not go on another adventure with Joe.
He had asked her to wear the dress that he had gifted her for Valentines. They had been in a relationship for at least 8 years now. They started dating when they were junior in high school and dated all through college. They also lived together in the dorm until they got their bachelor's degrees. Now, they had moved to different parts of the United States because of their careers. Joe lived in New Orleans and was getting his master’s at the University of New Orleans. Alongside that he was working at an oil refinery company. While on the other hand, Jackie was getting a masters in pharmacy at a medical school in Philadelphia. After a 40 minute ride, they arrived at a five star resort that was decorated with lights on the rim of its roof, attendants waiting to welcome them at the door with a bottle of champagne and a bouquet of flowers. One of the attendants, opened the door as they pulled up at the door. They handed the lady the bouquet of flowers and the man the bottle of champagne. Then, one of the attendant ushered them to their room.
Next morning, Jackie woke up and couldn’t find Joe in their room. She yelled his name many times and didn’t get a response so, she started to panic. Then, she looked over to the bedside table, she found a little note rolled up and tied with a red ribbon sitting on it with a rose next to the note.
The note said, “Good morning, gorgeous, you probably worried about where I am, but firstly calm down. Deep breath in and deep breath out. So, now look in the bathroom. I like you to put that on and come on down to the
