One weekend I had a basketball game. My friend Izzy was having a bad game and she was really angry. We won that game but, Izzy was still really mad at her performance in the game. “Oh my gosh! I play horribly!” Izzy exclaimed as we walked to the car. “Everyone has bad days. Don’t worry about it.” I said to make her feel better. “Nobody has as bad of a game as me.” She said in reply. I feel really bad for her. I feel as though I’m almost in her own shoes because I always get really upset at basketball games. I feel like I let everyone down sometimes. “I just feel that I let the team down.” Izzy said in an unconfident voice. “Believe me when I say this, I have been through this as well. I have felt like I don’t belong on the team sometimes.
