My immediate family consists of 3 people: me, my mom, and my dad. Both of my parents are very smart and hard-working, especially when they were in high school and college because they had some aspirations to come to America from China. My mom and my dad were always at the top of their schools, respectively, then went on to the same college. If there is anything that I can improve in, like an essay, I will try to improve it. In middle school, many teachers gave the opportunity to do “corrections”, like on a test or an essay, to gain some points back. To me, it didn’t matter if they gave you points back or not, because I would still do them just to know my mistakes, learn from them, and to not make the same mistakes again. Even if there were no “corrections” needed by the teachers, I would and will always go over any errors I made and review them. This trait is something I am proud of because it consistently puts me in the mindset of doing better and improving and not just settling in on something that is “good”, but rather something “excellent” or the best that I can make
