A kid named Jason on the other team started to look at me and my friends and started mocking use because we were supporting the Lightning so loud. Even though he was in the eighth grade we did not feel bad when my friend Tom yelled at him saying that he sucked. In the third quarter the other team went up by two and the game was going back and forth and it was really entertaining to watch. I yelled at my friends telling them that we jinxed this game and need to shut up so that hopefully we can make a last second shot and win this game. My friends and I were all so into the game that I did not even pay attention to what was going on around me. I was so focused on the game and just hoping that the Lightning could win it. The Lightning pass the ball in to try to make a shot to win it and the kid that gets the ball his name was Will and he was playing really good the whole game. So my friend told the team to give Will the ball because he had made the most shots that game. The Lightning throw the ball in and WIll slips and could not get the ball so the Lightning ended up losing the game by one point. The game was really fun and enjoyable to watch even though my friends team lost it was a fun game to watch I felt bad for the kids so I went up to them and high fived all of them and told them that they played their hearts out and should not let this bring them down. Yes this was a eighth grade game and should not have been taken so seriously, but I enjoyed it a lot the kids put their blood sweat and tears into this game so I just wanted to show them support and that people were enjoying watching them
