Playing lacrosse in college has been a dream of mine since I started playing lacrosse in third grade. My faith and belief that this dream would come true was tested in my sophomore year. Having an awesome freshman year on JV lacrosse at my school, I felt really confident in my ability to try out for varsity in the spring of my following year my sophomore year. I didn’t make the team and my confidence plummeted immediately, I thought that because I didn’t make the team I wasn’t good enough. I worked really hard on JV that year and my coach made me captain.
