When I attended the Latino Summit program, I remember getting a t-shirt that said Latino Summit. After that, we all got separated and got placed in classrooms. I remember walking in saw young adults who were dressed up very professionally. They look like they were about to go to work to a very important job. Someone made the announcement that they were people that have graduated from Harper College or some other college. It was about six or seven of them and they were talking about their childhood and what problems they were dealing with growing up. They talked about how they overcome obstacles that were in the way.
