I’m a big football fan. I watch high school and NFL football games. I never really watched college football that much. So since I’m a freshman in college I thought it was the perfect time to give college ball a chance. I chose to go to the first football game with a couple of the friends I had made the first few weeks.
I’m a real quite person, but my love for football allowed me to get out of my shell and meet you people. When we first got to the stadium, all you would see is a bunch of people having fun tailgating. So we wanted to join in the fun and went to the freshman tailgate zone. It was very lame over there. I love everything and anything about computers. I knew I wanted to do something that involved computers I just didn’t know what. At the fair I learned about other majors that were similar. Learning this helped me make a decision I wasn’t going to regret when I’m walking on the stage and getting handed a piece of paper to show that I completed college.
I had a lot of doubts before I went to this event. It helped me understand what I want to do. I talked to someone who works for the school about my major. They were telling me how the field is growing at a rapid rate and how a lot of jobs are opening up. This made me happy about my decision because I don’t want to graduate and not be able to get a job. He told me about possible jobs I could do. If I keep my grades up I could earn a lot of money straight out of college.
Attending this event lifted some of the doubts I had about my major. The staff there was so helpful. I learned things I really was ignorant about before the event. I met a couple people with similar majors. It was a very good event and I’m really glad I went. This was probably one of the few events that changed my mindset a bit and I’m happy about
