Personal Narrative: My First Home Wrestling Matchs

Once you've wrestled, everything else in life is easy -Dan Gable. It was the middle of winter, and my first home wrestling match. I wanted to be as far away I could be from the matt. It was my first year and out of all my matches I had only ever won one match. I was sweating and had a sick feeling in my stomach. Like everything I have ever eaten was wrestling to see which would come out of my stomach first. It was starting to go away, but then the other wrestlers arrived. I will admit that they were pretty tall and looked like they could have pinned me in a second. I knew my next opponent too and he wasn’t as easy as the last one. He was able to pin me in seconds, and it was in the last meet. It felt like I was sinking into the floor and I couldn’t get out.What really made me jump was when my tall coach put his on my shoulder and suggested, “Let’s try and get three wins in a row.” I didn’t feel like I was on top of the world anymore like when I won the first the match, but I felt much more determined.
Then it was time for the match and I knew the only way I was going to win. I was going to have to get In quickly and get him in quick other wise I didn’t have a chance.I had no idea how wrong I was.There was one problem; have you ever tried catching a rabbit, but it got away when you got close? I felt like that, but this very tall rabbit that could fight back. He was going for my legs And I thought it was going to be over I moved so maybe he wouldn’t have a good grip,Then a miracle happened he slip and hurt his knee this was my chance quickly I went in for the ping.He fought and trashed but I wasn’t going to let go I had to stop him from leaving the matt,those where the longest 10 seconds of my life.When I Looked at the board not even thirty seconds went by and it was five to zero.When my arm was raised I could hear my family and friends screaming that I
