Action and Supporting Details 1: I first got interested in learning how to drive a stick when i bought my first truck. I bought a 67 f250 camper special with a 4 speed on the floor and a clapped out 351 big block under the hood. The truck is baby blue and white, the paint is faded and ther is rust spots all over it . When i first started learning how to drive a stick my dad showed me how to shift through the gears and how to use the cluch without the truck running. When we left the motor was making a few weird noises but after a while it quieted down and was running like atop. We pulled in to the lot and there was a like as long as you could see of trucks for the show and shine. alot of them were cool but they weren't anything like mine. When we arrived at the dino ten there was already a truck up so we just got signed in and were up next. When it was my turn i had to pull the truck up on the dino and shut it off while they strapped it down. When they gave me the go ahead for my first pull i had to keep the truck in first gear so i reached down and fired up the truck and put the cluch in and dropped it down in to first. my first pull wasn't bad i made areound 1,500 horse power to the wheels. After that they said i could run through all the gears. I hoped in and fired it up onec again and by now we had gathered a croud. I started in first and the went to second and third and on my way to fourth i hammered down the throtle and gave the truck everything it had making the engine scream and everyone around went wild. The sad part was when i shifted down the transmition slipped and dropped in to first at 5,000 rpm witch broke the crank shaft clean in half and through a rod so we got towwed
