My first woodworking project was a simple yet complex cutting board. Through the process I learned the amount of time a craftsmen spends simply cutting the wood to length and then having to re-cut the wood due to uncontrolled circumstances. My cutting board is no different than a complex life, showing me how to measure, cut, and piece together experiences as well as involved projects. My cutting board was made from two simple woods.
