In my first year at Dominican my leadership can help the Dominican community become stronger because I stand up for what I believe, encourage people to be respectful, and I like to be aware of my surrounding.
I stand up for what I believe by that I mean that I say what I believe is right in my opinion. An example is if in class we are having a conversation and I do not agree with what it, I will politely raise my hand and say why I do not think that is right. I also participate in class and share my opinion.
