One of my best memories of my grandfather was when our families went to Florida for a vacation. I introduced my grandfather to Adele’s music. At the time her song “Set Fire to the Rain” was up on the top charts. It was constantly being played on the radio.While we were in grocery store parking lot waiting for my dad, her top hit song came on the radio. We all started to sing and laugh. My grandfather was trying to reach the high notes like Adele, but was very out of tune. Then within seconds my grandfather started to cry. It wasn’t a sad cry, it was more of a in the moment of happiness cry. He’s the kind of person who is very sentimental and not afraid to show his emotions.
