Nothing ever happened in Rosewood. Never was there any excitement in this town, and I hated it. It was boring. I didn’t even want to come here. I had a great life in Arizona with good friends, and my entire family. We only moved here because my dad got some sort of job offer. He claimed that it would greatly benefit our family. The way I see it, moving here resulted in the opposite. And it is not just that. I had a weird feeling about this place. I heard legends and stories about people mysteriously disappearing or dying. I was a very paranoid person, and after hearing things like this, I would always think of the worst possible situations. We had been here for about a year, and nothing ever happened. By nothing I meant NOTHING. No one ever got arrested, or died. I thought it was slightly weird, but I saw it as a good thing. If no one is getting hurt in anyway, maybe all those legends were fake, I thought to myself. …show more content…

School was just over, and I was walking towards my car. Parked right beside me was a navy blue cop car. Never had I seen a cop car near school so it was a little weird, but I disregarded it.
