“I can’t believe how warm and soothing the water is,” said my mom. I agreed with her by saying, “I didn’t think the water would be this warm either.” The first couple of days we spent drinking pina coladas, lounging and playing on the beach. Distant fishing boats could be made out on the horizon of the Atlantic Ocean. Seagulls filled the salty air chirping and searching for food left by visitors. Deciding to go boogie board, my brother and I swam out as far as we felt like was suitable for quality waves “Look how big that wave is!” yelled my brother. I yelled back at him, “ Let’s go surf it!”
As we approached the fifteen foot wave on our boards the wave seemed to be getting stronger each second. The wave stood over us like a building and tried to intimidate us but we were ready to conquer it.
