Personal Narrative: My Trip To The Western United States

If I had a ticket to go anywhere in the world, I would go on a vacation to the Western United States. I would travel, eat, hike, and see the many sites in the western United States.

I would visit all the national parks in the area such as Yosemite, Grand canyon, and Denali. Ever since I was a little kid, I have always wanted to try to visit all of the western United States of America. So far ever since I was five years old I have visited some major national parks like Mount Rushmore, and Alcatraz Island in San Francisco California. I will visit all the national, and state parks in the west coast. I will go a hike in Glacier national park, and hike through all of these trails. I will camp by the river, and fish there all day long. I would …show more content…
I would find all the great local restaurants that I can find in the area. When me and my family went to San Francisco, California, we went to Chinatown and ate some of their great local food there like sesame chicken, dumplings, and steamed rice. Since that day I have always wanted to go back to San Francisco and find places like that to eat at around the city. Then after that I have always wanted to go to Alcatraz Island and take a tour of the island and the prison. See how the prison worked, how they built it on the island and how they maintain such a large facility. I would also go over the Golden Gate Bridge to the small town of Sausalito. See all of the sites like Point vista, and Battery spencer, and the Sausalito board walk. I would then go to a camping park that is near the Golden Gate Bridge and pitch up a tent there for the night. Watching the night sky and the bridge being lit up in the …show more content…
When me and my family went to California when I was eight, we were not able to go up that far up to go and see it. I would then go and see the Yosemite valley, and while I am down there I will see the Ansel Adam gallery of cave painting, and go to Yosemite Falls. Some other things I want to do around the park is to go to Glacier point, Mist trail, Half dome, and Sentinel dome which are all very scenic places to see in the area. I would then go and hike thru some of the trails like the Panorama trail, Four mile trail and the famous Half dome trail. I have always wanted to go on the Half dome trail in Yosemite because it is supposed to have such a beautiful of the whole parks. I will hike the fourteen to sixteen mile round trip too and back from the mountain. I will get to see all the scenery that the trail has to offer, and I will get to climb the last leg of the trail up the infamous half dome cables.
