Personal Narrative: My Vacation At SWOSU

My decision to come to SWOSU has many factors in it. I came to SWOSU with a big dream. It all started when I came to a summer camp at SWOSU. Since that I learned to love SWOSU and since my major was Pre-med I fell even more in love because it's science classes are so advanced. My decision to SWOSU was thought out by many things, including but not limited to the Campus size, the Wellness center, and my main reason was my career dedicated to my brother. Although SWOSU is a great school, knowing my brother is not here anymore makes me doubt my ability to continue. My decision for attending SWOSU began with the campus size. During my look for colleges my biggest fear was sitting in a classroom with 200 other people. I feared that if I needed help I would not be able to receive it directly from my teacher due to their busy schedule. SWOSU is not like that, instead it is more than helpful. The classroom size in SWOSU is just perfect. They have no more than 25 students in each class. The teachers will make every effort to help us fitting our schedule. The buildings at SWOSU are also very close. It is not a struggle for me to walk from one building to the other. Overall the campus size is excellent. …show more content…
The wellness center is offered by SWOSU for free. It offers a variety of classes and events to attend with no cost whatsoever. The classes I like to attend are the ZUMBA and Ab classes. These classes help you become a healthier person. The Rock wall is another feature of the Wellness center. I climb it at almost daily. It is a great way to stay active without feeling the pain a regular workout would cause. The weight room and upstairs track and weight machines are not an exception to what makes the wellness unique. When I did my tour and saw all of these features I fell in love with the wellness center. This made me think SWOSU was the place for me since I wanted to start a fit and active
