“Any fool can know. The point is to understand.” I believe that this quote from Albert Einstein best represents the personality of an INTP. Similarly to Albert, I also happen to be a rational philosopher. Being an INTP means that in theory I am fantastic at finding loopholes and spotting flaws. I strive for independence and originality; most often I am mentally quick and insightful. On top of this information I also have visual, verbal, and logical intelligence that allows me to learn in a variety of ways. According to the Interest Profiler my career would prosper the most if I choose an artistic or enterprising career. People with my personality type are usually rational, imaginative, laid-back, and do not feel threatened by conflict or criticism (“INTP Relationships” 1). I normally strive for clarity in everything, and am very driven to build knowledge for myself and others. I value knowledge above all else. As an INTP, I have a bad habit to “become overly critical and sarcastic with others”. According to my personality type I am very independent, unconventional, and original (1). I place little to no value on traditional goals such as popularity and security. As an INTP I have a complex personality, and am unfortunately a temperamental individual who is prone to restlessness (1). Writing this paper has made me restless and irritable because I am a complex temperamental individual. Thinkers naturally lean towards jobs that allow generating and analyzing theories and allow a great deal of autonomy. INTP’s also do very well in jobs that seek truth and need judgements. Jobs best suited for the INTP include: Physicist, Attorney, Judge, Forensic Analyst, Systems Analyst, and University Professors as well. INTPs adore generating and analyzing theories and possibilities in order to prove or disprove them. Artistic people careers that “involve music, art, and design” (1). I find it easy to put creativity into my work. I am also an enterpriser which means persuading and leading people comes naturally to me, I also have a habit of taking risk for profit (1).I normally find it easy to make decisions and almost also find it easy to induce others when I really want something. Enterprising people accomplish work that includes “...starting up and carrying out business projects. These people like taking action” (1).I like to do things myself and remain independent.
