At the time, I was 13 and the world was already screwing itself. Iraq was creating yet another war and President Greeting was doing nothing about it, the Soviet Union was invading China, and the U.S. was getting in it’s third Civil War. My dad said it would right itself as always but I wasn’t sure; I had a bad feeling this time. After two years and the U.S. has a new President who, to be honest, is dumb enough to be threatening nuclear war to Iraq and Russia. He’s already instituted martial law so we can’t go outside most times other than to go down to Safeway and get supplies and other necessities.
