Before I left for school, we worked outside, rain or shine with a tent over the front end, and worked on the wheel bearings and replaced seals. It was a very long and boring process. It was a very messy project, and since it was a 1978, some of the bearings didn’t want to come off. When you have a problem, always know that there is always a way to fix it. So, we were able to find ways to get all the parts that wanted to be stubborn off. Once we got them off and got the new parts in the mail, they were pretty simple to go on, which was the nice thing. Then we started working on the engine, getting it boarded out and re-done. But sadly, Christmas break ended. My dad worked on some small things while I was at school, fine tuning the motor and making sure everything worked like it is supposed to. When I came home at the end of the year, I was so excited. We did a test drive and it went great. On my birthday, I was able to get my Jeep titled and start driving it.
