I would watch as they would kick a ball around, and I was fascinated by the way they would move so fast with with the ball and I tried to copy their every move. I was familiar with the sport at young age my favorite soccer player was called Kaká. I wanted to learn more about the sport and get improve my skills, my goal was to fall in love with the sport. Unlike other sports, soccer helps to translate to the rest of the world. No matter what are beliefs we can all enjoy. Third world country kids do not need a field, or fancy equipment; all that is needed is a soccer ball and people willing to play the sport just for the fun of it. There is no age requirement, there is no gender preference, as well as for the people with disabilities. Soccer is for anyone and the sport itself has its ways for people to develop a passion for it. To others, soccer may not be that greatest sport in their world. For instance, football and soccer fans have always been in a cold war. Football fans often call soccer a “girl” sport for the reason that in soccer there is not contact being made. That is the beauty of the game, no one has to get hurt when competing against each other. Whether on the field or off, everyone was friendly with one another when watching the game. Parents worry about their children playing games, that involves physical contact; in soccer no one has to worry about children getting concussions or going to the hospital. The sport can get out of hand at times, because the fans are loyal to their teams.
